Today is deadline for voters to switch parties to vote in September primary

CONCORD (AP) — New Hampshire voters who plan vote in the upcoming September primary should check their registrations.

Tuesday is the last day for voters registered as Republicans or Democrats to change their party registration before the Sept. 13 state primary.

Undeclared voters can vote in either primary, but if they don't return to undeclared status after a primary, they will remain in the party in which they voted.

As of late April, New Hampshire had 916,808 registered voters. Thirty-eight-percent were undeclared, 32 percent were Republicans and 30 percent were Democrats.
