Tired of snow, NH? Good news, latest maps keep weekend snow south

NH1 Meteorologist

The social media buzz after Tuesday's powerful nor'easter was the chance for more snow this weekend.

As we posted on Wednesday in response to your questions about the snow, the forecast was rather uncertain, but some weather models were bringing snow showers into New Hampshire for Saturday.

Thursday's models have trended in a positive direction if you are tired of snow.

However, these set-ups are ones that can quickly sneak up on us. So it's worth watching the forecast into the weekend.

Right now, it appears most of the state will stay dry on Saturday. Some morning sunshine is a good bet, but clouds may increase at times from midday into the afternoon. Most of the snow showers will stay south of New Hampshire. A few could make it into southern areas.

Once this energy hits the coast, a more formidable storm system will develop. We are still watching the track of it, but odds favor it staying south of New Hampshire. Some of its precipitation could move into southeastern New England on Sunday.
