This new iPhone bug could completely kill your Apple device

Yikes.

A newly discovered bug can completely kill your Apple device.

According to iClarified, if your settings for the date are set to Jan. 1, 1970, it permanently "bricks" the device.

It sounds, at first, like the bug would be self-inflicted, but some travelers have reported timezone switches have crashed the device.

A Reddit theory says it could be that that setting the date to 1/1/70 could cause the internal clock to be set to less than zero, which confuses your iPhone and crashes it.

Take a look at iClarified's video below.
