MANCHESTER— Nine arrests have been made after an investigation into opioid sales at 135 Orange Street.
This investigation was conducted in less than 3 weeks, and centered on the street level distribution of heroin and crack cocaine from several residents at this location.
Information was also developed that multiple people involved with this investigation were in possession of firearms and that the location contained multiple individuals ranging from customers to various source level people.
On Thursday afternoon, members of special enforcement division and MPD SWAT executed a search warrant at the residence of 135 Orange Street 1st and 2nd floor (East -Side).
Upon executing this warrant service 18 people were encountered total- including an 18-month-old child.
During the search, multiple people tried to hide in a bedroom, and firearms were thrown from the suspect address.
After residents failed to comply with the officer's commands to exit the bedroom, the entire building was evacuated.
