The Ride Home: What's traffic looking like in NH after Columbus Day weekend?
Thousands are heading back south after flocking to the Granite State for the holiday weekend.
Traffic is expected to pick up as the day progresses.
People really got their money's worth of foliage during this long weekend, and it was a gorgeous day to drive through the state.
There haven’t been too many major back ups yet, but the traffic has been heavier than usual thanks to the extra day off and the weather.
Interstate 93 had a rough patch near Concord earlier in the afternoon after an accident.
There was some congestion Sunday, so it looks like the travel has been split up a bit.
Now we're seeing a little mix of the vacationers and those who had to work today all head home.
Stay tuned for more on what the roads are looking like tonight on NH1 News at 5, 6 and 10 p.m.
