'The Bachelorette' winner Shawn Booth has NH connection

KEENE – For all of the avid "Bachelorette" fans in the Granite State who were excited about “Shawn B” getting the final rose in last night’s finale – there is one more reason to be happy.

Shawn Booth has ties to New Hampshire! He was a graduate of Keene State College.

Booth, 28, did not just win over the heart of Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe, but also helped win plenty of soccer games for the Keene State Owls.

Booth, a 2009 graduate, was a former defender on the men’s soccer team.

Since then, the 6-foot-2 athlete moved on to Nashville, Tenn., where he is a fitness consultant.

Since appearing on this season of the ABC reality show, Booth will be better known as a drooled-over television star.

The drawback?

It seems the next time Booth returns to the Granite State it won’t be as an eligible bachelor but with his new fiancé.
