Teen taken to hospital with serious injuries after dirt bike crash in Claremont
CLAREMONT — A teen in Claremont was thrown from his dirt bike Thursday afternoon after failing to make a turn.
Shortly before 3 p.m. Thursday a teen was riding his dirt bike near the end of Alden Road, and while trying to turn onto private property, he lost control and was thrown from his dirt bike, police said.
The teen, who was not wearing a helmet, suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital before being moved to Dartmouth Hitchcock in Lebanon.
Police investigating the crash said "unreasonable speed" may have been the cause. The crash is still being investigated.
