Teen improving after hit by car in Hudson

HUDSON – A Hudson teen is improving from injuries after a car struck him on Highland Street Sunday.

However, neighbors of Highland Street are not surprised a tragic accident took place given how motorists drive at unsafe speeds.

“It’s been like a drag strip as soon as they come down that side street there, they are like flying by here. It’s very dangerous, I am surprised only he’s gotten hit,” Steve Donnelly, a resident said.

Hudson Police say alcohol was not a factor in the crash and the driver, Scott Hicks, has cooperated with police.
