Teen driver in fatal auto-pedestrian crash indicted on multiple charges

MANCHESTER — A teenage driver previously unidentified by police following a 2016 auto-pedestrian accident that killed a 60-year old-woman has been indicted on multiple charges.

The Nashua Telegraph reported that Grace Wight, 18 of Lyndeborough, is charged with two Class B felonies, one count each of negligent homicide and reckless conduct involving a deadly weapon. She also faces one count of vehicular assault, a Class A misdemeanor.

Wight was 17 at the time of the accident when her truck hit and fatally injured Debess Rogers as she was walking down Center Road in Lyndeborough at about 1:30 a.m.

According to the Telegraph, it wasn't clear whether Wight was taken into custody upon the handing down of the indictments, or if her driving was restricted.

Wight's next arraignment will take place in Superior Court North in Manchester.
