Teacher charged with leaving children with son, an alleged child pornographer

RICHMOND - A teacher is accused of leaving four children with her son even though she knew he was was sexually attracted to minors.

Anna Brunk faces charges of endangering the welfare of the children by leaving them in the care of Robert Brunk, who faces charges that he photographed 5 to 7-year-olds in sexually explicit situations between Sept. 1, 2013, and June 22, 2014 according to SentinelSource.com.

Prosecutors say Anna Brunk learned of her son's interest when he was allegedly caught looking at naked children on his computer in 2012.

“Since that time the defendant did not see or hear anything that would lead her to believe that this behavior was being repeated,” Paul G. Schweizer, Anna Brunk's attorney, wrote.

The next hearing in the Brunk case is scheduled for July, with a trial date set in September, for now.
