SWAT and police surround NH home after man stabbed, more possible victims in house
MANCHESTER — After a stabbing victim arrived at Elliot Hospital, police and SWAT surrounded a Manchester house where they believe the incident occurred waiting for a warrant to investigate.
Special Enforcement Division Capt. Mark San Clemente said authorities responded quickly to 241 Joliette Ave. in Manchester due to information provided by the man who was stabbed and fear that more victims could be there.
The SWAT team secured the perimeter of the home while waiting for the police to obtain a warrant in order to enter and search the home.
The building is a duplex, multi-level home, with residents on both floors.
The second floor resident came outside to talk with the authorities after seeing the commotion and is considered a neighbor who was not involved with the incident. He has been cooperative, police said.
The first floor is still under investigation.
