Swanzey man artist for US Open Championship
A New Hampshire man is leaving his mark, specifically with paint, on the U.S. Open Championship.
John C. Traynor of Swanzey learned he had been picked as the artist of the U.S. Open’s official print in August, according to Sentinel Source.com.
“He’s pretty much a quiet-famous person living in Swanzey and no one even knows he’s living in their backyard,” his wife, Liz J. Traynor told Sentinel Source.
Judges were impressed by Taylor’s mastery of landscape and emotive use of color.
