'Suspicious' fire destroys vacant house in Manchester


MANCHESTER - A vacant home was destroyed by fire on Candia Road early Tuesday.

Several callers to 911 reported the home was on fire at 504 Candia Road at about 2 a.m., fire officials said. It took firefighters approximately 40 minutes to knock it down. The cause of fire is considered suspicious and is under investigation.

Fire officials estimate the cost of the fire to be about $150,000.
