Suspicious death investigation at Dunbarton home


DUNBARTON — A suspicious death investigation is underway at a Barnard Hill Road home, officials said.

Dunbarton Police, State Police, and the Attorney General's office were seen at 35 Barnard Hill Rd. Friday. The death investigation began Thursday, officials said.

Investigators have not released the identity of the victim and have not said whether the person is male or female.

A woman who said she is the victim's sister in law told NH1 News there were three people who lived in the home. She said she and her husband last spoke with the homeowners 6 months ago after there were concerns about one of the people living there.

She said they were assured things were fine.

Officials have not commented on whether or not an arrest has been made.
