Students participate in 'riots' throwing bottles at police

PLYMOUTH — Police officers and students at Plymouth State University were involved in a riot on Saturday night, according to the Union Leader. There were hundreds of students throwing glass bottles at groups of police officers, there haven't been any arrests yet.

This incident is believed to stem from an argument at a building on Winter Street and students told the paper that these arguments started the night before the "riot" at the lacrosse team's formal.

The incident started getting hostile at around 11 p.m. and didn't end until about 1 a.m., when police were able to reopen the street.
