Santa isn't the only one who will be traveling a lot this week.
AAA predicts nearly 99 million Americans will hit the road this week for the Christmas holiday. Travelers hope the weather won't cause delays like it did during Thanksgiving.
The holiday travel period starts Tuesday and runs through January 4. No signficant delays were reported Monday at Manchester-Boston Airport. Those arriving in New Hampshire for the holiday expressed relief they aren't traveling later this week.
"We were only delayed about 10 or 20 minutes today. I heard there is bad weather later this week," said airline passenger Alyssa Pierce.
Travelers are urged to check with the airline they're flying on before heading to the airport this week.
