Stolen truck recovered at Manchester 7Eleven after man left keys in it unlocked
MANCHESTER - A stolen truck was recovered three hours after a man said it was taken after he left his keys in the car.
Robert Russell, 58 of Goffstown, called police on Monday afternoon to report that his 2008 Ford Ranger pickup truck had been stolen from the packing lot of SNS Convenience on South Mammoth Road in Manchester. He said he left his keys in the car while it was unlocked.
The stolen truck was recovered after his niece, Crystal Maina, spotted the pick-up truck in Manchester. Maina had been looking for her uncle’s pick-up and alerted the police when it was spotted at a 7-Eleven.
The police arrested and charged Kevin Gearhart with receiving stolen property. Gerhart is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
There was no reported damage to the vehicle.
