Stolen car and firearm lead to arrest of 25-year-old Nashua man
NASHUA — Nashua Police arrested a 25-year-old man after a week-long investigation into a stolen car and firearm.
On Sunday, Nov. 7, police responded to the area of Bridge Street and Amory Street for a report of a stolen car with a firearm within.
Police recovered the stolen car the next day at the Pheasant Lane Mall, however the firearm was not inside.
The investigation led to the identification of Michael Roig, of Nashua. Roig was arrested on Friday at about 2 p.m. on a warrant.
Roig was charged with theft by unauthorized taking, a felony, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor.
Roig was held on $5,000 cash bail and is scheduled to be arraigned at the Nashua District on November 14. Roig can face up to 15 years in prison with his charges.
