Stephen Peno indicted on robbery charge in connection with stabbing death on bike path

NASHUA - A grand jury has issued two more indictments for Stephan Peno who is already facing second-degree murder and other charges in the stabbing death of Benjamin Marcum.

The new indictments in Hillsborough County Superior Court cover charges of robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.

Stephan Peno, 20, is accused of aiding Jonathan Goff, 17, in robbing and stabbing Benjamin Marcum, 49, on the Heritage Trail bike path.

Goff was arrested in connection with the same murder and robbery.

Peno is accused of assaulting Marcum by striking him in the face, head and chest while also stomping on his head, according to court records. Goff is accused of stabbing him several times with a knife.
