CONCORD – With two weeks to go until New Hampshire’s first in the nation presidential primary, a new NH1 News Poll of Polls indicates that Donald Trump remains the clear front runner in the Granite State’s Republican primary.
Trump’s at 32% according to the Poll of Polls, which averages the most recent public opinion surveys of those likely to vote in New Hampshire’s GOP primary. Ohio Gov. John Kasich, who’s numbers are on the rise, is a distant second, at 15%. Senator Ted Cruz of Texas is at 13%, with former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida each at 9% and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie at 8%. Everyone else in the large GOP is below 5%.
In the race for the Democratic nomination, the Poll of Polls indicates Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont topping former Secretary of State by 11 percentage points. Former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley is a distant third.
