CONCORD – New Hampshire remains firmly in the 2016 spotlight next week.
Sunday Republican Gov. John Kasich of Ohio returns to the Granite State. He pops in on former Executive Councilor Ruth Griffin’s birthday celebration in Portsmouth at 2:30pm. At 7pm, he takes part in a walking tour of downtown Newmarket with Alex Talcott and Rep. Adam Schroadter.
Monday Kasich holds small business visits and discussions at 10am at the Redhook Brewery in Portsmouth, at 1pm with RP Abrasives in Rochester, and at 2:30pm at ROKON International in Rochester.
Kasich ends his two day swing in the first-in-the-nation primary state by holding a town hall at Turbocam International in Barrington. NH1 News was first to report on Kasich’s trip.
Kasich is expected to launch his bid for the White House the following week.
Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker’s expected to announce his 2016 GOP nomination bid Monday with an event back home. Thursday Walker returns to the Granite State. He's at Joey's Diner in Amherst at 11am and Seacoast Harley-Davidson in North Hampton at 3:30pm.
That evening Donald Trump returns to New Hampshire. NH1 News was first to report that Trump will hold a rally at 6:30pm at the Weirs Beach Community Center.
