Steinhauser: NH1 News covers 4 candidates in 4 hours (again)

NH1 Political Director -

CONCORD - Our mission was to cover in less than four hours the four presidential candidates campaigning across New Hampshire on Thursday.

We succeeded.

I teamed up with NH1 News photo journalist and cameraman Ian Halter. Our first stop: L3 Warrior Systems in Londonderry, where former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush held a town hall with employees at the defense contractor.

Next up, we headed to the home of Shannon McGinley in Bedford. The conservative activist hosted a house party for Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida.

Our third stop: the Greater Derry Londonderry Chamber of Commerce along West Broadway in Derry. That's where Ohio Gov. John Kasich was headlining an intimate business round table. The night before, Kasich held his 50th town hall since in New Hampshire since announcing for president in July.

Asked by NH1 News how he accomplished the feat, Kasich said "well I enjoy it. I like talking to people. If you're a politician and you don't like to talk, you ought to get out. I mean that's like a race car driver who doesn't like to drive."

Our final stop was the State House in Concord, where Carly Fiorina addressed the New Hampshire House of Representatives.
