GOFFSTOWN – John Kasich hit a milestone on Sunday.
The Ohio governor and Republican presidential candidate held his 75th town hall in New Hampshire, all since formally announcing his White House bid last July.
The 75th town hall was held at Odd Fellow Hall at the Webster Lodge in Goffstown.
“I want you to know this is our 75th town hall meeting and we have a cake,” Kasich told the audience.
Moments later a cake was wheeled, and the candidate helped hand out pieces of the cake to the audience.
About 150 people attended the event, which was kept short so the crowd could head out and catch the start of the Patriots-Broncos AFC championship game.
Kasich’s held more town halls in the first-in-the-nation primary state than any other presidential candidate in either party
With the Feb. 9 primary closing in, will Kasich reach 100?
He joked with NH1 News last month that “I told one of my guys today maybe I have to stay and do them after the primary’s over but I want to get to 100.”
