NEWMARKET – Donald Trump’s Republican presidential campaign says it’s expanding its full time staff in the first-in-the-nation primary state.
NH1 News learned Wednesday that the campaign of the front runner for the GOP nomination is currently in the process of bringing a ninth full time staffer on board.
“We will certainly be staffing up in New Hampshire as we enter the last 100 days until the primary. Mr. Trump's candidacy has generated an incredible amount of excitement and interest, and I only expect that to increase as we get closer to election day,” state director Matt Ciepielowski told NH1 News.
This comes as Trump’s campaign is in the process of opening two new campaign offices, in Keene and in Newmarket. They are in addition to the campaign’s Granite State headquarters in Manchester, which opened in June.
Wednesday NH1 News was the first news organization to tour the Newmarket facility, which is located at 125 Main Street in the historic Newmarket Mills.
Wednesday evening the Trump campaign hosted a meeting at the new office for some of their top volunteers.
“We selected Keene and Newmarket for our new office locations because both are central locations in great communities, and we have well developed contact lists in those areas. Our county chairs in both Cheshire and Rockingham have done a great job of building local support, and opening these offices will help us mobilize those supporters,” Ciepielowski added.
