CONCORD -- Sen. Marco Rubio will return to the Granite State on November 30, NH1 News has learned.
The Florida Republican and presidential candidate on the rise will headline a house party in Rye hosted by Scott Brown.
Rubio was last in New Hampshire on November 5, when he filed to put his name on the first-in-the-nation primary ballot.
Thanks in part to two straight well received debate performances, Rubio's poll numbers are on the rise. He's in third place (trailing Donald Trump and Ben Carson) at 11% support in an average of the three polls of likely Granite State Republican primary voters in the three surveys conducted since late October.
Brown, a former GOP senator from Massachusetts who moved full time to New Hampshire and last year nearly defeated Democratic Sen. Jeanne Shaheen in the midterm election, has hosted a series of "no-B.S." backyard barbecues for the Republican presidential candidates. Rubio will be the ninth GOP White House contender to attend one of the events.
Brown hosts the gatherings with his wife, Gail Huff, who is a special correspondent for NH1 News.
