NH1 News Political Director
BOSTON -- Both Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders are Massachusetts bound.
With an average of the latest surveys in the Bay State's Democratic presidential primary indicating the race between the former U.S. secretary of state and the senator from Vermont all tied up, both candidates will campaign in Massachusetts on Monday, one day before the state's contest.
Clinton will hold events at the Museum of Springfield History in Springfield at 9:15am and at the Old South Meeting House in Boston's Downtown Crossing at 12:15pm. As first reported by NH1 News, Sanders is expected to hold a rally in Boston on Monday evening.
Massachusetts is one of 11 states holding Democratic presidential nomination contests on Super Tuesday. Other than Texas, no other state has more Democratic delegates up for grabs on Tuesday. And an average the three most recent public opinion polls, all conducted in the past two weeks, indicate Clinton and Sanders deadlocked at 46%.
