Steinhauser: Clinton campaign in NH on a growth spurt
CONCORD – Thursday night it was Portsmouth
Saturday it’s Keene.
Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign will open a field office in Keene on Saturday. That will bring to five the number of campaign offices the former secretary of state and frontrunner for the Democratic nomination has up and running in New Hampshire.
The Clinton campaign tells NH1 News that they currently have 24 paid staffers in the first-in-the-nation primary state.
Thursday evening the Clinton campaign opened their office in Portsmouth. They started up their state headquarters office in Manchester in early May, and since then added offices in Concord and Nashua.
The HQ in Manchester is located at 1361 Elm Street, just a couple of blocks away from Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign headquarters, which was located at 34 Fir Street.
By the time of the primary eight years ago, in addition to the headquarters in Manchester, Clinton’s campaign had field offices in Berlin, Claremont, Concord, Dover, Portsmouth, Salem, Keene, Laconia, Lebanon, Nashua, Plymouth, Rochester, and secondary office in Manchester.
