Statue of soldier stolen from Salem VFW


SALEM — A statue of a soldier has been stolen from the Salem Veteran of Foreign Wars (VFW) building.

The statue is described as a metal soldier in uniform kneeling on the ground with a cross beside it.

The Salem VFW is unsure of when it was taken, but believes it may have been a week to a week and a half ago.

Police have been notified about the stolen statue.
