State senator shares photos from 576 mountain hikes in upcoming exhibit

CONCORD (AP) — The 11,000 pictures Jeb Bradley has snapped of New Hampshire's White Mountains may sound like a lot, but maybe not when spread across "The Grid."

Bradley is a Republican state senator from Wolfeboro. He is also among five dozen die-hard hikers who've completed "The Grid" challenge, in which hikers summit each of New Hampshire's 48 mountains higher than 4,000 feet in each month of the year. It gets its name from the spreadsheets used to mark progress toward the 576-hike total.

Bradley finished his first challenge in January, but is already third of the way through a repeat. In the meantime, he's sharing his experience with less adventurous folks in an upcoming photo exhibit. Bradley's photos will be for sale at the Tuckerman Brewery in Conway starting Dec. 4.
