State Police to set up sobriety checkpoint in NH city
In an effort to crack down on impaired driving, the New Hampshire State Police are setting up a sobriety checkpoint in Nashua.
The checkpoint, which is authorized by the Hillsborough County Superior Court, will occur the weekend of June 30.
"The New Hampshire State Police and the Nashua Police consider the identification and apprehension of impaired drivers and enforcement of the Driving While Intoxicated statutes to be a top priority. Sobriety checkpoints are one of the best methods of deterring the impaired driver," police said.
