BRENTWOOD - Staffing shortages at Rockingham County Jail are causing problems for defense lawyers and their clients.
Lawyers for defendant Gregory Bruno, who has been accused of arson and animal cruelty, told a judge Wednesday that they've been unable to meet with their client face-to-face because weekend and night visits are not available at this time.
When the judge asked about Skype options they brought up privacy and cost concerns.
The judge told the lawyers that he had no previous knowledge of the problems.
