Spring storm causes accidents, cancellations across NH

New Englanders are facing a messy commute as a spring storm kicks off the work week on the first day of spring.

Speeds on highways around the state have been reduced to 45 MPH, including Interstates 95, 93, 89 and 101 as well as the Spaulding and Everett Turnpikes.

Several flights at Logan Airport in Boston have been canceled but most of the flights in and out of Manchester-Boston Regional Airport were running on time.

State police in New Hampshire said they have been dealing with many accidents and cars off the road.

Many schools also have delayed or canceled for the day.

In New Hampshire, the Concord area likely will get 2 to 3 inches of snow; Manchester will see a bit less than that. There could be 4 to 6 inches along the Seacoast.

Stay tuned to WBIN-TV and for the latest on this storm. Joe Joyce and Cyrena Arnold will be LIVE from 7-9 a.m. giving you the latest on weather, snow totals, traffic, and closings.
