Spring cleaning? Donate to NH1's prom dress drive to help girls who can't afford new gowns

Spring Cleaning?! Perfect! Major announcement coming next week but we're going to spoil it now.

NH1 News Network is sponsoring a prom dress drive in partnership with Families in Transition and Madeleine's Event Central.

Please spread the word and clean out your closet! Donate your dress so a girl can go to the (overly) expensive prom.

Thank you to everyone so far for making this happen so fast, including Kriss Blevens and Charlie Sherman. (And how amazing that my out-of-state friends all the way down to Raleigh, N.C. already shipped some dresses this way!)

Anyone who donates (long or short prom dresses or gowns) gets a $50 off coupon to Madeleine's Event Central.

Between April 4 and April 10, you can drop a dress off Families in Transition OutFITter Thrift Stores in Concord or Manchester, Madeleine's Prom in Portsmouth, or Kriss Cosmetics in Manchester.

On April 16, at OutFITters Thrift Store locations, girls who cannot afford a gown can pick out the perfect dress and go to prom thanks to you!
