SPCA surprises families with Christmas kitten delivery

STRATHAM - Santa's elves were on foot Christmas morning. Their first stop, the Fernandez home to deliver one last present. A new pet kitten for twins Georgia and Quinn Fernandez.

"This is so cool. This is really cool and we'll never forget this morning," said Christian Fernandez.

Fernandez says the twins wanted a dog but agreed to share a kitten. They were delivered thanks to the New Hampshire SPCA. They also delivered one to the Fuller family in North Hampton. Jaeda Fuller has been asking for a kitten for months.

"It was in a litter with a bunch of other black cats and one other siamese sister and I don't know I just wanted it really bad," said Jaeda Fuller.

Katherine Tobia and Jen Frey dropped off six kittens to five families on Christmas.

"We're at the shelter on Christmas. A lot of people want animals on Christmas and thought it would be really cool if we surprise their kids," said Jen Frey.

The kids were so surprised some were left speechless. For one family it made Christmas extra special.

"This was a special treat. I'm in the military and I leave in a couple days so this is an extra special treat," said Melinda Fuller.

A special delivery that made this Christmas one to remember.
