Southern New Hampshire University partners with Patriots

MANCHESTER — Southern New Hampshire University has signed a deal with the New England Patriots to benefit students, veterans, youth education programs and workers at the team's holding company.

University president Paul LeBlanc says the partnership will provide internship opportunities and guest lectures for students at the Manchester school. In return, SNHU will work with the Patriots and Kraft Sports Group to create scholarships for military veterans, as well as tuition benefits for staff members at the holding company and their families. The partnership also will include community-based initaitives to support youth education programs.

In July, the school struck a deal with Major League Soccer to provide full scholarships for players and internship opportunities for the school's current students.
