Sources: NFL investigation into Patriots finds 11 of 12 footballs under-inflated

The Associated Press

FOXBOROUGH - The NFL says the investigation is still underway, but sources say 11 of the 12 footballs used in Sunday's AFC Championship game against the Colts were under-inflated by two pounds.

League executive vice president for football operations and former Patriot Troy Vincent told The Associated Press that the investigation is underway, adding that the NFL is still awaiting findings.

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady says the investigation is the least of his worries. And tight end Rob Gronkowski tweeted a photo of himself spiking the ball with the words: "WARNING GRONKING MAY CAUSE DEFLATION."
