RINDGE- While speaking to students and voters at Franklin Pierce University, Carly Fiorina talked about the importance of the New Hampshire primary.
"Voters in New Hampshire take their responsibilities very seriously, and you have an awesome responsibility. The political establishment and the media establishment want to take your responsibilities away from you. They think they can decide who's winning this election," Fiorina said.
Fiorina is the only candidate who's being excluded from the GOP debate Saturday being hosted by ABC News. Many have come out in support of Fiorina, taking to social media using the hashtags "#LetHerDebate" and "LetCarlyDebate."
Mitt Romney tweeted: "Hey @ABC: put @CarlyFiorina on the debate stage! She got more Iowa votes than John and Chris. Don't exclude only woman."
U.S. Senator Kelly Ayotte also sent out her support with a statement: "Carly Fiorina has campaigned hard in New Hampshire to earn support from voters. ABC News' decision to exclude her from Saturday's debate on the eve of our primary, while she is outperforming one of the other debate participants in New Hampshire polls, undermines our role in the primary process and I urge ABC to allow Ms. Fiorina to participate."
Speaking one-on-one with NH1 News, Fiorina says there is no basis to exclude her.
"I've earned my way onto that stage. I've earned more votes than a couple of guys on that stage, I've earned more delegates than a couple of guys on that stage, I have more money than a couple of guys on that stage, I have a better ground game than a couple of guys on that stage. In other words, by every measure of viability of a candidacy, I'm better than a couple of guys on that stage," Fiorina said.
A new addition to her campaign schedule, Fiorina will participate in an addiction recovery roundtable at 2 p.m. Friday at the Hope for NH Recovery Center in Manchester.
