So long 'Snow Plow;' Whale carcass is gone from Rye Beach


RYE - A dead humpback whale that washed up on the beach, attracting thousands of the curious, has been removed from Rye Beach.

The whale was taken to a farm in Hamilton, Mass. for disposal.

The 45-foot, 18-year-old humpback washed ashore Monday and has attracted thousands of spectators. Researchers are trying to determine its cause of death.
