So far this year, Manchester airport has caught 2 handguns in carry-on luggage

A 68-year-old man faces fines of at least $1,500 for carrying an unloaded handed in his carry-on luggage at Manchester airport on Tuesday. The handgun, a 9mm Beretta, is the second weapon to be found by Transportation Security Admnistration officials at the airport this year, according to TSA. A loaded .38-caliber Sig Sauer handgun was found in the luggage of a 57-year-old man on Aug. 28. He faces a fine of at least $3,000, because the weapon was loaded. In both cases the weapon and the case were turned over to the Londonderry Police Department for possible criminal charges.
