Snow to blame in Nashua apartment roof collapse

NASHUA - Some scary moments last night for residents here at this apartment complex behind me as snow buildup is being blamed for a partial roof collapse that displaced several residents.

Today crews were here clearing snow off the roof of the building where the roof was damaged as well as the other 16 buildings in the complex.

Nashua has gotten a lot of snow so far this winter. The town's building official says the roof collapse was due to unbalanced snow buildup and they are now looking at the roofs of all 16 buildings.

30 units were impacted by last night's roof collapse. The Red Cross is assisting some people displaced by the incident. The property manager would not comment.
