Snow leaves NH hotels, motels at full capacity
CONCORD - As thousands remain without power, many hotels and motels across the Granite State say they are at full capacity.
In the state capital, the Courtyard hotel completely sold out last evening and managers said they will again be at maximum capacity tonight.
"We're very busy - still getting phone calls," said Tim Roy, the general manager of the Courtyard in Concord. "We're trying to do our part - accommodate our current guests but also help those that are searching for hotel rooms so we are in communication with other hotels nearby and just trying to find out whether there are any vacancies for people and direct them to the best of our ability."
Roy said since the Courtyard is part of the Marriott chain, they are able to take advantage of the partnership to check vacancies and to see what's available - but with prior reservations due to the holiday this week, rooms are extremely limited.
