Georgia Pacific in Newington called in the fire marshal after employees complained they heard creaking around the building.
The fire marshal arrived on scene and quickly evacuated the building after deeming it unsafe. Early this morning, before employees arrived, part of the roof collapsed.
No one was injured but a witness told NH1 News he ran at the sheer sight of the collapse.
"I wasn't sure what was going on, but I felt the ground shake and heard a loud boom and saw the building," said Scott Tobey who saw the whole thing.
