What a mess on the roadways. Accidents reported across the state made for one rough commute.
Between crashes and vehicles spinning off the road, New Hampshire State Police reported more than 125 accidents between 6am and noon on Friday. The worst happening at the height of the early morning commute hours.
Tow truck driver Dan Whitman said, "Today is the perfect example. It's a little layer of slick underneath this 1/2" of snow and it's nearly impassable."
Drivers were either in accidents or the delays caused because of them. On the Everett Turnpike, northbound near exit 14, the highway was closed from about 8 to 9 Friday morning because of accidents. There were also problem from Concord to the Massachusetts line on I-93,and the Seacoast wasn't spared either.
Whitman said, "On my way from Exeter to Epping to tow this(car) I passed seven cars that were in trouble."
