Skimming device found at NH credit union; police asking users to check statements
BEDFORD — The Service Credit Union ATM on Colby Court was found with a skimming device inside.
Police urge residents who used the ATM between 3:19 a.m Thursday and 10:15 a.m Friday to keep a close eye on their bank statements.
Skimming devices have the ability to steal personal banking information and send it electronically to a remote location.
Chief John Bryfonski of the Bedford Police Department commends the bank staff for recovering the device before it had been installed for too long.
