Single fatal car crash in Concord, Mass., 59-year-old woman died after hitting a tree

CONCORD, Mass. — Concord police responded to a fatal single-car crash on Saturday at about 7:28 a.m. on 1800 Main Street.

Concord Police and fire arrived at the scene to find that a 59-year-old woman had crashed her 1999 Toyota Camry into a tree.

The woman was traveling east on Main Street when she veered off the road and hit the tree.

She was seriously injured and later succumbed to her injuries at a local hospital.

The crash is under investigation by the Concord Police Department and State Police assigned to the Middlesex District Attorney's Office.

At this time, police do not believe speed or alcohol were factors.
