Single-car crash in NH leads to 2 arrests, witness captures video of incident

LEBANON — Two people were arrested after a single-car accident with a telephone pole for driving under the influence and possession of drugs in Lebanon on Wednesday.

Jeffrey Caron, 48, of Plymouth, the driver, was allegedly driving west on Route 4 when his car left the roadway and collided with a telephone pole. Caron was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Further investigations led to police charging Caron with reckless driving and driving under the influence of alcohol.

The passenger in the car, Kellen Fitzgibbon-Bizel, 31, of Thorton, was found with a variety of prescription narcotics that were not prescribed to him, police say. Fitzgibbon-Bizel was arrested and charged with five counts possession of a controlled/narcotic drug, a felony.

Both Caron and Fitzgibbon-Bizel were arrested and released on $10,000 personal recognizance bail. They both, separately, are scheduled to appear in court on January 9 at the Lebanon District Court.

A witness to the crash was able to capture video of the accident and the events leading up to the point when it struck the utility pole.
