CONCORD — Students at the Shaker Road School in Concord are making a big impact, raising over $6,000 for Hope for New Hampshire Recovery with their annual Kickback for Community fundraiser.
"Kickback to Community is our annual fundraiser for local charitable foundations," said Shaker Road Principal Matthew Hicks. "This takes the place of a traditional field day at the end of the year. We select a local charitable foundation, this year we chose hope for New Hampshire Recovery."
Students from kindergarten through eighth grade participated in this year's event, and the Shaker Road School hopes the annual campaign will continue to grow in the coming years.
