Sgt. Margaret Lougee named new Bow Police Chief

BOW — Bow Town Manager has announced that Sgt. Margaret Lougee will serve as the town's next chief of police.

Lougee has been with the Bow Police Department since 1996 and has served as the school resource officer for the past 10 years. She also served as a Master Sergeant in the NH Air National Guard, retiring after 21 years of service to our country.

"It's quite an honor and privilege to be the Chief of Police in, and for, the town that I grew up in.” Lougee said. “We have a great department.”

A formal swearing-in ceremony and reception will be held on Monday at 5 p.m. at the Old Town Hall, 91 Bow Center Road. All townspeople are welcome to attend.
