Man, woman charged in sexual assault case involving 10-year-old girl in Manchester
MANCHESTER — Two of the city's residents are facing criminal charges after an investigation revealed that Royal Brady, 32, had allegedly sexually assaulted a young girl that he knew.
Kimberly Brady, 31, reported a sexual assault involving a minor on June 15. Officials looked into the allegations of Royal Brady assaulting a 10-year-old girl, and he was arrested on Friday, June 17.
He was charged with aggravated felonious sexual assault and appeared in court on Monday. He is being held on $100,000 bail.
Kimberly Brady was arrested Tuesday and charged with criminal liability to aggravated felonious sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child and violation of the child protection act.
Detectives believed that she knew about the assaults, but failed to report the incidents when they first occurred. She appeared in court Thursday and is being held on $50,000 bail.
Both are scheduled to appear for a probable cause hearing on Wednesday, June 29.
