Severe weather caught on camera across New England

PLUM ISLAND, Mass. - A huge bolt of lightning and loud crack of thunder send a Plum Island, Massachusetts woman running for cover.

As a tornado warning storm passed through Plum Island this afternoon, the woman driving around caught much of the action on camera.

While there's no confirmation of a tornado forming, they saw plenty of dark clouds and heavy downpours.

The Lakes Region in New Hampshire saw a tornado warning for part of Tuesday evening. Time-lapse video captured by shows dark clouds and rain quickly move in.

Unlike the woman on Plum Island who drove around taking video during a tornado warning, a few guys in Manchester tell NH1 News they would have much different plans.

“Probably just catch some cabin fever, just go sit inside,” Chris Skinner.

“I’d probably head inside at that point. I’m going to head inside, I'm not trying to deal with any tornado or anything like that,” Caleb Lesmires said.
